Policies

SCHEDULES AND CANCELLATIONS

  • We have a schedule that dictates the course of our day. We give an estimated time of arrival that can be up to a half hour before or after your scheduled time.This arrival time can only be approximate due to factors out of our control such as weather, driving conditions, cancellations, etc.

  • E-Z Living Cleaning, LLC occasionally has staff members who are ill. If we are unable to arrive within 30 minutes of your scheduled time we will phone you as early as possible to notify you of the new estimated arrival time.

  • Upon arrival, our staff needs access to your property. If you have not given us your key and you are not home as expected and are unable to arrive in a reasonable amount of time (10 minutes), you will be charged a $75.00 cancellation fee. If your alarm cannot be silenced with the code you have given to us and you cannot either give us a valid code or come to the house to silence the alarm in a timely manner, you will be charged a $75.00 cancellation fee.  In either case above, if you do come to your house our cleaning time begins upon your arrival and we will either complete your cleaning if our schedule allows or we will do an abbreviated cleaning.

  • If you must cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment for any reason you must call or email our office. Please do not give either verbal or written messages of this nature to the manager or other staff members in your home.

  • E-Z Living Cleaning must receive your cancellation or rescheduling request at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment or you will be charged a $75.00 fee. Additionally, cancellations or rescheduling requests for Monday appointments must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the previous Friday. The more time we have to reschedule your appointment the more likely we can accomodate your wishes but we cannot guarantee the same time slot, day of week or cleaning crew. Remember, either voicemail or email notification is acceptable .

  • EXCEPTIONS: We realize that situations arise which would constitute an emergency (and therefore may be exempt from our usual policy) such as sick family members, emergency room trips, etc. If such a situation arises, please contact our office as soon as possible.

LATE PAYMENTS AND RETURNED CHECKS

  • Payment in full for services rendered is due by the 15th of the month which follows the service. Accounts which are deliquent by 90 or more days will be subject to a late fee equalling 10% of the amount owed. We appreciate your promptness just as you appreciate ours!

  • Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 service charge. If a check is not satisfied within 30 days of notification it will be subject to 3 times the amount of the check (no less than $100.00 and no more than $1500.00) plus the amount of the check. C.C.C. Sec. 1719.
